Hi,

I am working on the winston lutz on elekta images
Winston-lutz plots for the gantry rotation isocenter and EPID displacements.

Does the gantry isocenter is corrected for EPID displacement or it is just plotted?
IF not, is there any to correct it?

Prabakar,
I’m unfamiliar with Elekta machines so unfortunately, I don’t know if there is an EPID correction. Pylinac only compares the geometric center of the image.

Hi Prabakar

Elekta machines only apply gantry rotation correction maps to kV images not to MV images. Thus you will see displacements of several mm for EPID images.
