Picket fence analysis problem

Hi all,

I am encountering a problem when trying to analyse picket fence test EPID image files and I wanted to see if anyone else is coming up against this and how to resolve it. On the web-app when I try to analyse some EPID images I get the following message:

“”"Something went wrong

We’re sorry but a server error has occurred. We’ve been notified and will look into it as soon as possible.“”"

I have tried several different files and some work and some give the same message.

I then tried to instead analyse the files that resulted with the error above in the Python environment and the following error results:

“”"IndexError: index 0 is out of bounds for axis 0 with size 0

ValueError: A reasonable initial peak was not found in the profile. Ensure peak is not at profile edge.“”"

I am not sure why this error is coming up for some files and not others because all images are created with the same irradiation settings and under the same conditions, just different times.

Any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Ihab

Hi Ihab,
Sorry the module isn’t working for you. What version of pylinac are you using? This error can be caused by a few things, but is hard to say without seeing your image. Have a look at the troubleshooting section of the picket fence docs. If that doesn’t solve your problem then you can upload the images privately here and I can troubleshoot it.

James

Hi James,

Thank you for your reply, I really like Pylinac and Assurance QA in particular so I’m very keen on getting around this issue. I have tried the troubleshooting steps, and unfortunately the problem persists. I have uploaded 2 of the images where you indicated and I hope you can identify the problem.

Thank you once again for your help and time.

Ihab
